Dave's Straw Hat Inn is one of Boracay's newest resorts, even though we prefer to refer to ourselves as an Inn as a way to reflect our small size, attention to your comforts and needs and our family atmosphere. With that said, we offer those amenities that most big Boracay resorts offer without the high prices. We provide inexpensive Boracay accommodations, with absolutely no skimping on quality. Our guests have the choice of three types of rooms, which may include air-conditioning, refrigerator and cable television. All rooms are furnished with phones, and have hot and cold water and generator back up.
Kick back on our patio, enjoy a Boracay fresh fruit shake or a local menu item. To stay in touch, even though we think you may prefer to just rest and relax during your escape, we also offer Boracay internet access. For your convenience, our staff can converse in English and Japanese.
The design of our Inn is unique, including a bit of Bali, a Spanish twist and of course a warm touch of the Philippines. We take all of your needs and safety very seriously, with evening security and we were the first on Boracay to pass the Boracay 2005 fire code inspection.

Puka Beach
Puka Beach - A quiet stretch of white sand along the northern tip of the island, Puka Beach is an image of what most people expect on a tropical island: white sand, azure water, and relatively empty. This is where locals gather the small puka shells for some of the jewelry that is sold on the island so expect the sand to be more coarse than on White Beach. The water tends to be a little rougher on this side of the island but it is much quieter. Similarly, there are fewer services -- at last count there was one restaurant but you likely won't have a problem getting a cold drink or an ice cream as there are a few vendors that patrol the beach. The main road in Boracay terminates at Puka Beach therefore you'll be able to hire a tricycle to get there in less than 10-15 minutes from central White Beach. Make sure you arrange a pickup if it is a quiet day and no tricycles are hanging around the beach. Most people experience Puka as one of their sailboat or banca stops during a day trip. This is a good spot for a picnic, but be sure to bring your trash home with you.

Two of our beach houses are given very Filipino names, Mactan House and Anito House. The other one is called Slate House. Built using indigenous and imported construction material, they have an architecture that is both modern and tropical, which blends well with the local scenery.
The carefully designed rooms were appointed different themes. Each room comes with a set of designer furniture, high-end European bathroom fixtures and lights, and a wide collection of artworks from local and international artists, making each room unique and an exciting place to stay in. Manila-based One Place Design Group was hired to carefully plan and supervise the whole project.

Built for the owner of Boracay Beach Houses, Anito House exemplifies modern luxury in the heart of a tropical paradise. Just 10 meters away from the back of Mactan House, it occupies 150 sqm of living space and has a roof deck that is 60 sqm large. The rooms on the second and third floor are available for guests. They can be accessed via a staircase on the side of Mactan House. The newly constructed, family run, Boracay Butterfly Garden Cottages offers you a restful and relaxing tropical holiday in your very own private cottage, situated right on the less commercial and quieter Bulabog Beach front where you can walk out your door directly onto the beach for your daily swim and suntan.
Bulabog Beach on Boracay Island is now famous in Asia with kite boarders and windsurfers, who often refer to it as "Asia's No.1 Kite Boarding Beach", from late Oct. to early May when the offshore coral reef and the onshore winds make excellent conditions for this popular sport.
The cottages are centrally located near Boracay's popular D'Mall Shopping Centre with all its shops, restaurants, supermarkets, bars, ATM's, banks, etc., which is only a 5 minute walk away, and White Beach which is only a 7 minute walk away.
All cottages are fully furnished, have well equipped kitchens with refrigerators and ovens, bathrooms with hot and cold showers, bedrooms with air conditioners and ceiling fans, cable TV, WIFI, Safety Deposit Box access, patios with sea views, and beach beds for your own use. Not only are our prices very competitive, but you have the option of keeping your costs down further by using your own personal kitchen to cook your favorite meals, or dine out at the many exotic restaurants. Baling Hai Beach Resort Boracay
Balinghai Beach Resort is tucked away on its very own private beach, offering their guests seclusion and privacy. With class AA Boracay resort accommodations, Balinghai consist of six Bungalows for a total of eight rooms. This secluded beach resort sits atop a steep cliff, surrounded by the cove it's nestled in.
